About Chainsaw:

Founded in 2003, Chainsaw is a four piece based in Stockholm, Sweden. Having started with an ambition of creating thrash metal as it once was without ending up in the retro gutter, Chainsaw has stayed true to its initial goal.

“Feed the Lie” is Chainsaw’s first full length effort, after a couple of demos, barely released EPs and tons of shows, and contains the best material created by Chainsaw during its first eight years.

Chainsaw delivers a full on thrash metal assault focused on technical prowess, without compromising the primitive brutality that is the essence of thrash metal. The band has built up a solid reputation as a powerful live act performing at break neck speeds with energy second to none.

Having had the same solid line-up since 2007, Chainsaw are hungry and only looking forward, a second album is already being written and gigs are being booked. Driven by frustration of where modern metal has ended up; cookie monster verses, melodic “emotional” choruses and “groovy” breakdowns, the band is determined to ensure that Chainsaw will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
